It is possible we may have met before. In my previous role as House Manager / Butler for a few different large country estates, I have been flitting about in the background of numerous events and functions for several years, meeting and working with people from all over the world.
From a young age I found solace in the order of things. The act of organising cupboards, wardrobes and entire rooms was more than a hobby – it was my sanctuary in a world that often felt too loud, too chaotic.
Growing up, whenever I had a chance, I would empty my parents’ or my siblings’ wardrobe out and arrange them back neatly before their return. When visiting my cousin, I’d offer to organise her wardrobe while she did her homework. I would spend hours or days in the log shed, organising the logs to look neat and tidy. I would hide in my grandmother’s pantry for hours at a time, arranging the jars on the shelves in order and by categories. I would offer my mom to help in the kitchen, only so I could organise the drawers and cabinets. I found joy in creating systems and structures.
This love for organisation followed me into adulthood and I applied it to every job I had and in all aspects of my life. From working in bars and restaurants earlier in my career, to housekeeping, private household and events management later, I am always seeking ways to make spaces more efficient and harmonious.
More recently I’ve been working as a butler and my passion for organising and decluttering has grown stronger than ever. But it is not just about creating order. I realised that my work could also reflect my deep respect for our planet and commitment to ethical practices. I began to focus on sustainable and ethically sourced storage solutions and found ways to reduce waste through sustainable decluttering.
Having earned a qualification in Professional Organising and Decluttering, I felt a strong desire to merge this with my extensive experience, passion for the profession, and dedication to sustainability. Over the years, I’ve meticulously honed my skills and now I stand confident in my ability to bring a unique blend of hard work, attention to detail, trustworthiness, discretion, efficiency, and time management to every project. All of these are underpinned by a strong commitment to ethics and sustainability. My goal is to simplify your life, making it more enjoyable and less cluttered. I strive to instil in each space I organise the same sense of calm and joy that I’ve cherished since my childhood. Every decluttered and organised space is a testament to this mission.
I know that a well-organised space can bring peace and productivity, but it can also reflect our values and our care for the world we live in. I am committed to helping others achieve this balance in their own lives, in a way that respects our planet and our future.
